I just got back from my trip to Iceland! Here are some Aurora photos my camera captured! It was August, so I couldn't see them this brightly with the naked eye. But thankfully I had my big camera! Thank you, camera. I love you! If you have a newer iPhone, (mine was too old) you can also take a picture of them using night mode.
These aurora photos were taken on my first night of my van trip. Before my flight home though, I went to Perlan Wonders of Iceland and was joined by a dude from my hostel who was from Rotterdam, Netherlands who also had a flight that evening, so it was perfect! He was otherwise going to be bored in the hostel all day. Nah nah nah.. So they had a planetarium with a showing of an Aurora animation short film. It was a journey of discovering the mysteries of the northern lights in first person personification of Aurora! So beautifully done.
